The Novella Briefcase is a two gusset cargo design made with full grain Saddle Brown leather and our new durable brass tuck lock. The calfskin leather for this briefcase was vegetable tanned in Tuscany to create rich color tones while the matte (oil) finish gives it an old school look and scratches easily recover by rubbing the leather. Over time this leather bag will soften and develop a beautiful patina. The inside of this briefcase is leather lined for extra durability. Novella Briefcase is available in Saddle Brown, Tobacco Brown, and Black. Made in Italy. Characteristics: This leather has a matte finish that patinas perfectly over time. Our natural beeswax leather cream is recommended to soften, polish, and protect as needed. This leather is real and has variations in color as a result of the artisanal tanning methods. Each leather hide is one of a kind. Small scratches can be polished out with leather cream or conditioner.
